Community Engagement Adviser (NHS Voluntary Services)

Through partnership working with Humber Teaching NHS Foundation Trust, we are delighted to be able to advertise an opportunity to support Voluntary Services in our local hospital bases in the Scarborough, Whitby and Ryedale Area

We are recruiting a:

Community Engagement Adviser (NHS Voluntary Services)  

30 - 37.5 hours per week, salary £22,928, pro rata. 

(Fixed Term till December 2023)

The service aims to support key departments/wards and NHS community services with the development of complementary volunteering opportunities that will help patients with their social and emotional recovery pathway, as well as supporting NHS colleagues with low level practical tasks including gardening, deliveries, driving and ‘clinic meet & greet’. 

You will need good communication skills and to be experienced in volunteer engagement, project management and partnership working. As a needs-led service, you will be required to be proactive and innovative in your approach to supporting a wide range of stakeholders. 

Flexibility is a requirement of the role.  Own transport is essential.
