This month has seen the Scarborough, Whitby and Ryedale colleagues join with colleagues in Hambleton and Richmondshire. Read more to find out what we offer carers across both areas!
Our Scarborough , Whitby and Ryedale colleagues are delighted to have now joined with colleagues in Hambleton and Richmondshire; the Charity is complete! We have been incredibly busy making the process as smooth as possible - here’s a quick update:
As a newly joined team, we are ready to further develop the support opportunities for carers over a significant area of North Yorkshire. With services now running from Scarborough to Thwaite, we are working to bring:
- A ‘Carer Advice Line’ to talk through immediate queries and information.
- The opportunity to talk to a dedicated Adviser who will support you through the challenges you are experiencing with your caring responsibilities or balancing other aspects of your life with your caring role.
- A social and emotional point through which to connect with other carers and professionals. We appreciate the caring journey can sometimes feel daunting or lonely, talking, sharing and just listening to others experience can often help.
We have also launched our new social media platforms so you can reach us and keep up to date with our services on Twitter, Facebook or Instagram - all are accessible by searching for @CPYorks.
