Carer Engagement Adviser (Young Carers)
“As a young carer worker, I engage with young people 8-18 supporting them in their caring role; our ambition is to ensure they are happy and feel supported. I enjoy meeting all the different young people I work with; I like finding out about, and developing their interests and strengths, ensuring they work towards realising their full potential. My own personal interests are going to the gym, walks with my dog and I also enjoying watching movies! I am very proud of the role I play in helping identify young carers and I am happy to be able to work with such amazing individuals, being a friendly face that they can talk to.”
