The One Twenty

Hello and Welcome!

The One Twenty is based in the heart of Eastfield, (in the old cafe at the top shops). The One Twenty is an outreach space for Carers Plus Yorkshire, open to unpaid carers and the wider community!

We have many established groups already taking place here such as Parent Carer groups, Veteran groups and a monthly Craft group! We are excited to be setting up more new community groups this year including Breakfast for All, Family Time and a monthly Pop Up Shop!

About us

Carers Plus Yorkshire is a community-facing charity with a wide range of services. At our core, we provide advice and support to unpaid carers from age 8+. In addition to these core support services, we have a range of Community Services that support people living with additional vulnerabilities.

For the last 5 years, CPY has been working within the heart of communities; supporting community members with a wide range of care and support needs. Over the lifetime of the Charity (28 years), CPY has extensive experience of delivering ‘at place’, in outreach settings and developing services influenced by community voice.

Our Community Support work has seen us develop a strong offer around reducing community hardships, as we look to develop community connectedness beyond the impact of the pandemic and amidst the current cost of living challenges.

We are beyond thrilled to be ‘at place’ in Eastfield at The One Twenty!

I really hope to make a difference to the people of Eastfield. As I’m from Eastfield myself, I feel I can relate and am aware of the real-life problems that people face.

I really hope to make a positive impact whilst leading here, my goal is to improve community awareness about the services we provide, whilst helping to reduce loneliness and isolation.

Rent The One Twenty

Only £25 per 3 hour session. Sessions can be morning, afternoon or evening. The space comes with a fully equipped kitchen and disabled access toilet. Times and prices are negotiable. Please contact the main office for booking enquiries.
