We are seeking a:
Carer Engagement Adviser (Young Adult Carers)
To support young adult carers (16-30)
30 hours per week (fixed term until March 2024)
Salary pro rata of £23,928 FTE
As a specialist within the Adult Carer team, you will be responsible for supporting Young Adult Carers across some of the most challenging transition points in their carer journey. We are seeking an experienced person who can support Carers with aspects of their education, training and employment ambitions, relationship changes, social engagement, and planning for future success. We would also like to ensure this post supported Parent Carers to balance their family and personal goals.
The capacity to work in partnership with statutory and voluntary sector partners, and be an exceptional communicator, is essential in both roles.
Your base of work will be at the Northallerton office, but Advisers are required to work out and about in the local community. You will need to be flexible as you might need to work the occasional evening and weekend if required.
Own transport essential.
