Young Carer Service

The Young Carers Service supports Young Carers with their caring role and helps to build on their confidence and resilience to enable them to realise their own potential. Our support also reaches to the families and siblings of Young Carers, with a whole family approach being important to us.

We aim to better identify, and provide support for, Young Carers and their families to develop emotionally and physically; as well as being able to take full advantage of opportunities for educational achievement alongside their caring role.

What do people say about our service?

What do people say about our service?

"Our work with Carers Plus has been invaluable in allowing us to identify, signpost and support young carers in our school. The training of a Carers Champion from our staff has allowed us to maintain a visible point of contact for young carers in school and to promote the support available through regular drop in sessions run by Carers Plus staff."
