Job Title: Community Engagement Adviser (Micro-Providers@Home) 

Salary: 23,271.74 FTE

Hours: 37.5/30 hours/week – hours can be negotiated 

Contract: Fixed-term for 1 year (in the first instance)

Locality – East Riding of Yorkshire

We currently offer a range of Carer Support Services (for carers aged 8-108), and a range of wider Community Services for all adults (carers and non-carers) to really allow us to fulfil our mission statement and objectives.  

The role:

As a Community Engagement Adviser, you will be working as part of the My Neighbourhood Community Services team,  focusing on the development and delivery of the Micro-Providers@Home project in the East Riding area.  You will work alongside a CPY colleague who will be delivering the project within the localities of Filey and Hunmanby (North Yorkshire). The role is varied, with partnership working being a key component.

The person we are looking for:

You will be self-motivated, committed, adept at listening and responding to the needs of individuals and communities; keen to capture, reflect and build on the impact created and able to work at pace. 

Flexibility throughout the local area is required and so a driving licence and access to a car is essential. Occasional evening and weekend working is required, as such flexibility in your schedule is crucial.
