Salary: £35,000 pa
Hours: Full-time (37.5 hrs)

Base: Carers Plus Yorkshire, split between Snainton (Scarborough) office and Northallerton office (travel expenses will be paid)
About us:
Carers Plus Yorkshire is a well-established charity of over 28 years, providing information, advice and support to unpaid family Carers and the wider community across multiple districts of North Yorkshire including Scarborough, Whitby, Ryedale, Hambleton and Richmondshire.
The Role:
We are seeking a Development and Fundraising Manager.
To work as part of the Senior Management Team with responsibility for fundraising and income generation, the successful candidate will have experience in a similar position and a proven track record of securing funding bids and contracts. You will be personable in your approach and adaptable to the needs of the charity.
You will work strategically with the CEO and Head of Operations to maintain the long-term sustainability of the charity. Good at building positive relationships with new and existing partners, identify gaps in provision and lead on managing specific projects as required. This role will also include line management of staff and will help build on the capacity within the SMT.
You will need to be creative, resourceful and people focused and able to work at pace. There will be expectation to divide the work across the whole of the geographical operational areas of the organisation (office bases are Snainton and Northallerton) A clean, valid driving licence and the ability to travel across the area independently by car is essential. Travel expenses will be paid for travel to the office furthest from your home.
