We are looking to recruit an experienced finance assistant who will support the Finance Lead in the day to day financial work of the organisation. You will be part of the Finance and Admin team and be proactive with a positive approach to the work.

Salary: £24,000 fte
Hours: Part-time up to 15 hrs per week (negotiable)
Location: Based at Snainton Office
Contract: Permanent

Carers Plus Yorkshire is a well-established charity of over 28 years, providing information, advice and support to unpaid family Carers and the wider community across multiple districts of North Yorkshire including Scarborough, Whitby, Ryedale, Hambleton and Richmondshire.
The Role:
We are looking to recruit an experienced finance assistant. The successful applicant must have excellent financial and budgeting skills. They will have a relevant qualification or be qualified by experience. They will support the Finance Lead in the day to day financial work of the organisation, including data entry, monitoring and reporting on multiple budget streams, assisting with payroll and VAT returns. Knowledge and experience of Sage or other accounting software is essential. Accuracy and attention to detail is also a must. A positive approach, a can-do attitude and a sense of humour are all essential.
You will be joining a team of highly skilled professionals in a fast moving and growing organisation. You will need to be dynamic, adaptable and proactive in your approach.
