The CPY team would like to wish Jo a very happy retirement and would like to welcome Sara to the Northallerton team.
Our Hambleton and Richmondshire team had a busy week last week as they said a sad farewell to our wonderful and longstanding colleague JO EATON (leaving us to start her retirement adventure) and welcome to SARA DALTON joining us as our new Service Manager.
Jo has been with the team for 7 years and in that time has supported many clients through the highs and lows of their caring journeys. Jo has dedicated her time to not only supporting Carers across Hambleton and Richmondshire, but has also selflessly supported and mentored her fellow colleagues to create the amazing team we have today. On behalf of the whole team, Elizabeth (CEO) sends a special message of thanks: ‘ Thank you Jo for everything – we hope you and the family enjoy every moment; here’s wishing you health, happiness and laughter in your retirement’.
Sara Dalton joined the team in the new year and we already know she is going to fit right in! Sara has previously worked for the organisation (in 2015 - 2017) when she led the charity’s support for Young Adult Carers. On her return, Sara has taken the post of Service Manager and will work with the whole team to take Carers Plus Yorkshire work in Hambleton & Richmondshire into its next chapter…….. Our focus in 2022 will be to further develop our outreach work, building a network of information hubs across Hambleton and the districts and ensuring Carers in all localities have access to the support they need, when they need it.
