John had been a dedicated trustee of Carers Plus Yorkshire since 2014, and this past year he took on the generous role of Chair of Trustees. His commitment to our cause was deeply personal, shaped by his own experience caring for his mum with dementia. His compassion and passion shone through in everything he did for organisation and the people we support.

 

He will be remembered not only for his leadership, but also for the warmth and kindness he brought to those around him. Many of you will recall his enthusiasm if you had the pleasure to meet him at our Mamma Mia fundraising night earlier this year, which he both supported to organise and kindly sponsored through J&D Accountants in celebration of our 30th anniversary.

 

John was a truly lovely man who will be greatly missed by his family, friends, and everyone at Carers Plus Yorkshire. We are deeply grateful for all that he gave to us.
