With an estimated 60,000 unpaid carers across North Yorkshire, we believe all deserve to be heard, feel protected, valued and safe. To be given strategies to combat the feelings of loneliness and isolation it brings. Carers come in all ages, backgrounds and circumstances; everyone's story is different. Lives can be turned upside down in any 24hour period. Nobody is ever truly prepared for being a carer and often not a choice of their own making. I am proud to be a Carers Plus Yorkshire Trustee, trying to make a difference, no matter how small.
